Epic Games Vaults the Infinity Blade in Fortnite After Two Days

Fortnite Battle Royale’s Infinity Blade Has Been Vaulted

Well that didn’t last long.  After two days of being in Fortnite game play the Infinity Blade has been vaulted.  The reason, well, it was just too powerful and really gave holders of this mystic melee weapon a unfair competitive advantage.  For those who play Fortnite, having a weapon like the Infinity Blade that not only doubles your health over other players but allows the holder of the Infinity Blade to move 30% faster, jumping abilities of a rocket ship and destroy builds with one swing, it was just too much.  Here’s an interesting Reddit board with discussion on the Infinity Blade.

We posted this note a few days ago after first-hand experience of being destroyed pretty quickly by the Infinity Blade.    We have noted Epic Games announcement from a few hours ago from their Twitter account.  It’ll be interesting if they ever introduced back into game play.  If they lower the health / shield levels I think that would be an equalizer.
