If you’re looking for a massively immersive gaming experience, then you can count on DONTNOD Entertainment to deliver it. With the likes of Vampyr, Remember Me, Life is Strange and more recently the stunning Tell Me Why in their back catalogue, it’s easy to see why they are highly regarded. The next instalment in DONTNOD’s storytelling charge will however be that of Twin Mirror, and today they are happily revealing the Xbox One, PS4 and PC release date, along with some tasty pre-order details.

So, first things first, Twin Mirror will release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (via the Epic Games Store) come December 1st 2020, giving players the chance to fall into the life of a former investigative journo, Sam Higgs.

From there, you can expect much, and even though our brief hands-off development presentation was enough to whet the appetite, we can’t wait for the opportunity to get involved properly. And when we do, Mind Palaces, tight narrative, confusion galore, dramatic events and ‘The Double’ will all come into play.

If that sounds like something you can’t possible miss – and believe us, it’s highly likely this will continue DONTNOD’s form – then pre-ordering it may well be worth a shot. Currently only available via the Epic Games Store, should you do so then you’ll receive the Twin Mirror original soundtrack as a little digital bonus.

If you wish to know more about Twin Mirror and have read all our thoughts from our dev presser, then make sure you take in the latest trailer below. In a nutshell though, Twin Mirror is DONTNOD’s first self-published title and co-produced with Shibuya Productions, as Sam Higgs returns to Basswood, his childhood town, for his best friend’s funeral. It quickly becomes obvious that this little West Virginian city holds numerous dark secrets and it’ll be up to you and this former investigative journalist to employ all deductive skills to uncover the mysteries surrounding the city and its inhabitants. Dealing with his past, Sam will be torn between his quest for truth and his desire to reconnect with relatives. Who can he really trust? Who can YOU really trust?
