Where to Find Raptors in Season 6 Chapter 2 of Fortnite Map Included
Season 6 of Fortnite Chapter 2 introduced the prehistoric dinosaurs known as Raptors. Raptors have hatched from the dinosaur eggs that were placed throughout the Fortnite map. These dinosaur creatures are not only hostile but very aggressive and much more difficult to beat than any other Fortnite Season 6 animals. If you kill a Raptor they currently provide three animal bones and two sources of meat. Raptors are found in many places on the map.
Where to Find Raptors in Fortnite
Like other wildlife, they are fairly rare and spawn randomly. Raptors make a distinct chirping sound that sounds very different from other animal noises, so you should be able to hear them before you see them.
From the looks of it, they’ve taken over a significant percentage of the animal spawn areas. The areas circled in the map below are the currently known areas to find roaming Raptors.
Primal Pond and Weeping Woods areas of the map are where Raptors are most seen. The easiest and best locations to kill Raptors without getting clipped are West and North of the Orchard.
